The   Europeans   2017   will   take   place   from   July   13th   to   16th,   2017.   It   will   be   shot   according   to   the   EFTF Rules   as   far   as   the   restrictive   German   Firearm   Legislation   permits   it.   The   changes   are   marginal   and   will not really affect the EFTF rules. The   competition   will   be   carried   out   on   the   German   Federal   Armed   Forces   Military   Training   Range “Gelob tland”   (geographic   coordinates   50°36’02.00”   N   13°09’45.17” ).   It   includes   the   headquarters,   the zeroing   range(s),   food   and   beverage   station,   tent   area   with   industrial   exhibitors,   first   aid   centre,   the parking spaces etc. There   will   be   a   triple   course   (naturally   in   Germany   black,   red   and   yellow      )   consisting   of   75   lanes   with   2 targets   each.   There   will   be   many   upward   shots   and   other   challences.   An   “In   Advance   Briefing”    will   be available   later   for   download.   On   the   2,5   km   course   several   toilets   will   be   available.   Free   beverages   and compressed   air   will   be   provided   during   the   competition   along   the   courses.   The   rifles   will   be   checked daily   for   the   energy   limit   and   marked   with   3   different   O.K.   labels.   It   is   strongly   recommended   to   perform the   first   test   checks   already   at   Wednesday   afternoon   (July   12th,   2017)   and   Thursday,   July   13th,   2017.   In this   context   you   should   study   carefully   the   EFTF   rules.   The   official   single   rifle   checks   will   be   performed on   all   three   competition   days.   The   zeroing   range(s)   will   be   open   already   at   Wednesday   from   12.00   a.m. and   Thursday   from   10.00   a.m.   to   04.00   p.m.   At   the   competition   days   they   will   be   open   from   07.00   to 09.30 a.m. All   shooters   must   check   in   at   the   registration   desk   from   Wednesday   on   where   they   obtain   their   indi- vidual FT Europeans 2017 ID cards (essential), pins, labels etc. FINAL TIME SCHEDULE Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 Registration desk 12.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. Zeroing range(s)                        12.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. Rifle check                                  12.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. Thursday, July 13th, 20017 Registration desk: 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. Zeroing range(s) 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. Rifle check 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. Welcome meeting in City Hall Marienberg. Menu Dinner 07.00 p.m. to approx 8.30 p.m. Winner Ceremony approx. 08.45 p.m. - 10.30 p.m. IMPORTANT NOTE: Forming   squads   of   3   shooters,   the   maximum   capacity   of   the   competition   is   225   starting   places.   By experience   the   majority   of   the   starts   must   be   reserved   for   the   PCP   and   Springer   teams.   Therefore   all RGB   representatives   are   asked   to   inform   us   by   email   via    orga-em2017@dftc2000.de    as    soon    as    possible   if    they    want    to    send    one    or    two    teams    and    if    yes    with    how   many   shooters   each.   This   is   requested   with   a latest   deadline   of   November   30th,   2016 .    The   regis tration   of   the   teams   will   be   anonymous   until   the national   qualification   procedures   are   finished.   Non-team   shooters   may   register   but   will   be   positioned preliminary   in   a   waiting   list   until   we   have   the   real   number   of   team   members.   After   that   the   waiting   list number    will    be    divided    by    the    number    of    participat ing    RGBs    to    obtain    the    number    of    non-team shooters   per   nation.   If   a   non-team   shooter   will   become   a   team   member   or   RGBS   do   not   send   individual shooters   the   next   on   the   waiting   list   will   replace   him/her.   NOTE:   also   the   non-team   participants   should be   registered   by   the   corresponding   RGB   officials   to   ensure   that   they   are   their   members.   Registrations will   be   followed   by   a   preliminary   confirmation   which   can   be   saved   with   a   screenshot.   After   payment   the shooters    will    receive    a    binding    confirmation    of    registration    via    email.    The    invitation    must    be downloaded   and   printed   out   and   possible   rifle   import   licences   will   be   sent   as   a   letter   and   as   a   scan   via email. Time Plan of registration and payment details: An   exact   planning   of   the   competition   is   only   possible   when   the   event   has   a   secure   financial   background. To   remain   fair:   this   has   some   consequences.   BDS   does   not   want   to   earn   money   with   the   Europeans   but the   starting   fees   are   essential   to   plan   a   budget   which   is   covered   at   least   35   %   by   fees   and   65   %   by   BDS. Therefore   the   payment   deadline   will   be   March   31st,   2017   for   the   anonymous/non   anonymous team   members   and   April   15th,   2017   for   non-team   shooters.   NOTE:   Because   we   have   to   pay   for both   dinners   in   advance   they   and   the   starting   fees   are   non-refundable.    Therefore   you   should   plan very   carefully   your   attendance.   If   there   are   remaining   free   places   we   will   inform   the   EFTF   community and   additional   shooters   may   register   then   with   a   short   extended   payment   deadline.   The   starting   fee (90.00   €)   and   the   dinners   (60.00   €)   cost   150.00   €   in   total   per   shooter.   Dinners   for   accompanying persons   must   be   booked   separately   with   the   registration   (Welcome   Dinner   25.00   €,   Winner’s Ceremony   35.00   €).   Beverages   are   not   included.   The   team   fee   is   40.00   €   per   team   and   should   be indicated in the registration section and paid by the team captains. Rifle import permission: Shooters   who   do   not   possess   an   European   Firearm   Passport   (EFP)   need   a   rifle   import   license   which   we   will   get   for   you   after   you   studied,   completed   and   sent   the   corresponding   online   form.   The costs   are   35.00   €   in   Saxony   plus   5.00   €   postage   and   handling   and   must   be   indicated   in   the registra tion form. Range   food   and   various   beverages   will   be   offered   which   you   pay   individually   on   the   tent   area   of   the range. There   is   enough   parking   space   and   we   will,   if   necessary,   have   on   the   range   a   shuttle   transfer   for   handi- capped shooters to the course.
